There are two school districts in Livonia. The Livonia Public School system is by far the largest with almost 17,000 students. It encompasses over 90% of the city and includes part of northern Westland. The Clarenceville School District, in the northeastern corner of the city, is one-tenth the size of the Livonia School District and includes students from Farmington and Redford Township.
