Business Philosophy 
 When I decided to become a full time Real Estate Professional in 1986, I had a basic business philosophy. This philosophy
was, and still is, to offer superior service on an individual basis in order to develop a loyal customer base. These
customers would not only consider me their personal Real Estate Agent, but would also have the confidence to refer me
to their friends, relatives, neighbors, and business associates.
Over fourteen years later, with approximately 60 Million Dollars in home sales and numerous achievement awards behind me, I still subscribe to the same original philosophy. As a result, over 60% of my total business in 2000 (over 6 million in sales) came from either repeat customers or past client referrals. Professional Background
Before starting my career in Real Estate, I spent 16 years in the advertising and marketing business. This prior career
experience included; advertising sales, the development of direct response marketing programs, and
marketing director for franchise sales. This wealth of experience and knowledge combined with the most recent
computer-based technology, has enabled me to develop, implement, and provide my clients with many unique and innovative
services that have not normally been offered by real estate practitioners.
Dedicated to Providing Quality Service
In today's fast paced world, it seems that receiving
"good old fashioned quality service" is becoming a thing of the past. However, I believe that my clients deserve
the best service that I can possibly provide.
To ensure that all of my clients and customers continue to receive the absolute best service possible, I joined forces with another fully licensed Realtor in 1994. Vicki, herself a successful Realtor with over 12 years experience in the real estate business, has always had the same attitude toward quality service as I. Vicki now coordinates and manages all of the many behind-the-scene details that help attain the goal of a smooth and pleasant real estate transaction for all of our clients. Computers and Technology
Technology is still relatively new to the Real Estate industry. We have had our computer multiple listing service in place for
many years (very user friendly). Until the last five or six years, for the most part, that was the extent of the
average agent's exposure to computer based technology.
Since the mid 1990's small innovative companies have been developing real estate specific software programs. Many other companies also provided a variety of technology and web based services for the real estate professional. These software programs and service providers have enabled Realtors like myself, to provide many new and unique client services. Since discovering the power of PC technology, I have been able to elevate my business to a new level of professionalism. I have made a substantial commitment in time and dollars to computer based technology. To date, I have invested in three PC's, one laptop computer, 4 printers, a digital camera, several real estate specific software programs, numerous other software programs, this web site and a 2nd in-depth real estate web site (DearbornHomes.com). I have found that this investment in technology has given me a substantial competitive edge in my profession, and has become an integral part of my business. I now provide my clients with many innovative Real Estate and Financial services that would be impossible to provide without this technology. | |
